2022 Using Thinking Routines To Improve The Reading And Writing Skills Of Elementary Students
Developing thinking skills in teaching and learning, including English lessons, is prominent. Reading and writing are the ability that requires synthesis and higherorder thinking skills. Thinking routines as part of thinking culture is one strategy to develop thinking skills. This study investigated the importance of thinking routines in improving sixth-grade elementary school students reading and writing skills. The quasi-experimental research was conducted with 64 students divided into a control group (N= 32) and an experimental group (N= 32). The topic of reading and writing was appropriate for the sixth-grade students’ developmental stage. Reading and writing tests were used as data collection tools. The experts validated the reading topic and the tests. The data is analyzed statistically using the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results reveal two significant findings. The first finding was that thinking routines did not significantly improve sixth-grade students’ reading skills. On the other hand, thinking routines improved writing skills significantly. The evidence from this study suggests using thinking routines in English teaching as a base to support and structure students thinking with various perspectives. In addition, thinking routines also support students in writing opinions based on the information given.

2022 The Effect of Blended Learning on Problem-Solving Ability in Islamic Cultural History Lessons
Blended learning is one of the many learning models that can be applied to learning activities at this time. The study was conducted to determine the effect of blended learning on the ability to solve problems in the subject history of Islamic culture. The study used a quasi-experimental quantitative approach (nonequivalent control group design). The data collection technique used a test (essay) given at the pre-test and post-test; the data analysis used a prerequisite test, namely, the normality test and homogeneity test, followed by an independent sample t-test. The research location was at MTsN 1 Jombang, involving 120 students, 60 students as the experimental group applying blended learning and 60 as the control group applying conventional learning. The study's results based on the independent sample t-test showed that the pre-test scores of the two groups had no significant difference, namely tcount< ttable (0.393< 2.001) with sig.(2–tailed) 0.695> 0.05, it can be ascertained that there is no difference between the pre-test data of the experimental and control groups. And the results of the independent sample t-test showed that the post-test scores of the two groups had significant differences, namely the results tcount> ttable (12.370> 2.001) with sig.(2-tailed) 0.000< 0.05. So it can be ascertained that there is a difference between the post-test of the experimental and control groups. 2022 How Thinking Routines Enhance Critical Thinking of Elementary Students
Learning English as a foreign language within a primary school in Indonesia tends to be teacher-centered and focuses on the single correct answer. The demands of tests and covering textbook materials for tests prevent students from becoming active thinkers. Specific strategies have been proposed to promote critical thinking skills. Previous studies focused on applying thinking routines either in early childhood or higher education. This study examines the effect of thinking routines on sixth-grade elementary school students' critical thinking ability within an English lesson. The quasi-experimental research was conducted with 64 students divided into a control group (N= 32) and an experimental group (N= 32) at two different schools. This research was conducted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The data is analyzed statistically using the Mann-Whitney U Test. Critical thinking ability tests and observation sheets were used as data collection tools. The results reveal that thinking routines significantly improved sixth-grade students' critical thinking skills. The result suggests using thinking routines in teaching and learning to support students thinking from different points of view.

2022 PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EARTHCOMM TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR SPASIAL DI MAS AL-MAS’UDY MOJOKERTO
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perubahan kemampuan berpikir spasial peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran earthcomm. Metode yang digunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasy eksperimental design dalam bentuk pre-test-post-test control group design. Lokasi penelitian di MAS Al-Mas’ udy Mojokerto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X MAS Al-Mas’ udy Mojokerto. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 peserta didik diambil menggunakan teknik sampling cluster random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data melalui kuesioner melalui Google Form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan:(a) terdapat perubahan kemampuan berpikir spasial peserta didik,(b) kemampuan berpikir spasial peserta didik dengan model pembelajaran earthcomm lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran model konvensional.

2022 THE EFFECT OF WORK BASED LEARNING TRAINING MODEL ON THE CREATIVITY OF TRAINING PARTICIPANTS AT BLK BOJONEGORO
The importance of human resources is based on the fact that human resources are the basic elements of every company. Human resources can determine the advantages of a company because human resources are goal makers, innovation, communication, creativity, and strategy for the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Work Based Learning training model on the creativity of trainees at BLK Bojonegoro. This research is a qualitative research which can specifically be categorized as a qualitative research program evaluation. The sample in this study amounted to 100 trainees at BLK Bojonegoro. The results showed that the high scale of creativity (85.5%), the tasks of the training participants (83.4%), support for learning (78.8%) and clear goals (76%). In training models where exposure to real-world constraints, opportunities, policies and regulations is mandatory, work-based learning occupies an important niche in participants' experiences.

2022 High School Students’ Self-Regulated Learning and Academic Procrastination Level in Blended Learning Model: A Correlation Analysis
The Covid-19 pandemic causes teachers to conduct limited face-to-face learning with online and offline (blended learning), impacting students’ low self-regulated learning (SRL) and high academic procrastination (AP). This study aims to describe students’ SRL and AP levels in the blended learning model and examine the relationship of them. Eight hundred thirty students of Senior High School in Ngoro Mojokerto, Indonesia, qualified as participants and provided responses to the SRL scale and AP scale instruments in the google form format distributed through the online student class platform. By analyzing the data descriptively and testing the Pearson product-moment correlation, the findings of this study said that 1). the level of SRL in senior high school students is the most dominant in the moderate category, 2). the level of AP in senior high school students is the most dominant in the moderate category. 3). there is a significant and negative correlation between SRL and AP in the blended learning model of senior high school students. The correlation results show that the lower the SRL level of senior high school students, the higher level of student AP. The research results suggest that 1) the survey of SRL and AP levels of senior high school students needs to be investigated on a larger scale; 2) researchers and teachers need to increase SRL and reduce AP in students through developmental research and various counseling models and approaches.

2022 Pengaruh Blended Learning Terhadap Efikasi Diri Peserta Didik dalam Pembelajaran Geografi di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Mojokerto
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perubahan efikasi diri peserta didik melalui pembelajaran berbentuk blended learning. Metode yang digunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasy eksperimental design dalam bentuk pre-test-post-test control group design. Lokasi penelitian di MAN 1 Mojokerto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X MAN 1 Mojokerto. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 peserta didik diambil menggunakan teknik sampling cluster random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data melalui kuesioner melalui Google Form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan:(a) terdapat perubahan efikasi diri peserta didik,(b) efikasi diri peserta didik dengan model pembelajaran blended learning lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran online.
