Penggunaan bahasa Inggris di era saat ini tentunya sangat penting. Namun lembaga formal dirasa belum cukup untuk memberikan pendidikan berbahasa yang maksimal. Untuk itu muncullah lembaga kursus bahasa. Salah satu lembaga kursus bahasa di Surabaya bernama lembaga kursus English Is Friend. Lembaga ini berada di Surabaya bagian barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kompetensi tutor serta kualitas pembelajaran di lembaga kursus English Is Friend Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa:(1) tutor di lembaga kursus memiliki kompetensi yang mendukung pembelajaran walaupun belum sepenuhnya.(2) kualitas pembelajaran di lembaga kursus EIF memperhatikan perilaku pendidik, aktivitas peserta didik, iklim pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, serta sistem pembelajaran.(3) Peran tutor yang menonjol dalam memaksimalkan kegiatan pembelajaran adalah adalah fasilitator dan motivator. Semakin baik kompetensi yang ada pada diri tutor di lembaga kursus EIF tentunya semakin baik pula kualitas pembelajarannya.

Pendidikan merupakan produk jasa yang dihasilkan oleh lembaga pendidikan yang bersifat non profit. Konsep pemasaran dalam pendidikan bukan untuk mengejar laba atau bersifat komersial. Pemasaran dalam lembaga pendidikan seperti Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar lebih ditujukan untuk memberikan layanan yang prima kepada konsumen pendidikan, dan menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas, sehingga keuntungan yang diperoleh berupa bertambahnya minat masyarakat terhadap program pendidikan luar sekolah dan SKB lebih dikenal dinmasyarakat. Penelitian di SKB Bantul ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Dan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pamong, pendidik, dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta teknik analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini penerapan strategi marketing di SKB Bantul dinilai sudah tepat, akan tetapi masih kurang maksimal pada beberapa program. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya strategi marketing yang tepat agar lebih meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap program pendidikan luar sekolah.

The research objective is to determine the role of Non-formal Education (NFE) programs in schools and children’ s interest in Non-formal Education The study uses a quantitative analysis approach. The results show there is a holistic and synergistic relationship between Non-formal Education and schools. The interest of students who take the Non-formal Education program at school is †œoptionalâ€, there is no compulsion, according to students’ interests, is entertaining, gives †œadded value†to children. NFE program analysis that strengthens the character of children includes; sports specialities strengthen the character of sportsmanship, tenacity and courage. An additional program of subject matter reinforces the character of diligent learning. The culinary training program strengthens character not to give up and the Islamic arts program strengthens creative character. Non-formal education is really needed to support the character in extracurricular in formal education NFE program in schools is very useful to provide reinforcement of positive character and even become a †œmust†so that students’ character develops well.

Children's language development is an important thing for early childhood development. One of the factors that can affect a child's language development is the communication of people who are closest to them, especially their mother. This study aim is to investigate the influence of the communication made by the mother of the child's language development. The research method conducted a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 126 mothers with kindergarten age children, who live in Surabaya. Data collection methods were done by using the scale of communication patterns and the scale of language development. The data analysis technique used in this study is a linear regression analysis using the SPSS program. The result of this study indicates that there is an influence of the mother's communication patterns on children's language development. This means that mothers who have active communication patterns with children will improve their child's language development. The results of this study are expected to provide input to parents to frequently make active and positive communication to stimulate children's language development.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Cross Functional Training sebagai upaya meningkatkan kepercayaan stakeholder dalam hal ini kepala desa sebagai pembina di PAUD Widya Karya. Keresahan peneliti melihat fenoma ketidak sinergitasan antara tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan PAUD Widya Karya dengan pemangku kebijakan sekaligus pembina dalam hal ini Kepala Desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian kali ini adalah seluruh SDM yang ada di PAUD Widya Karya dalam hal ini tenaga pendidik dan kependidikannya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah meliputi oberservasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatakan kepercayaan yang berarti dari kepala desa terhadap kompetensi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan sebagai operator pelayanan pendidikan anak usia dini di PAUD Widya Karya. Kondisi tersebut tidak dapat dilepaskan dari Cross Functional yang diimplementasikan segenap tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang ada. Masyarakat desa sebagai costumer merasa terpuaskan khususnya atas layanan administatif yang diberikan tidak hanya oleh tenaga kependidikan tetapi sering pula diberikan oleh tenaga pendidik yang sejatinya fokus utama mereka pada dimensi pengajaran dan bukan pada pemenuhan layanan administratif.

Digital era education becomes a challenge for citizens learning Paket C. Along with the progress of the times the improvement in the quality of education is directly proportional to the competencies of learning citizens. The Paket C program is a program in the non-formal education pathway that is organized in stages and structured. Learning citizens as adults to receive education have not been maximally facilitated in the formal education pathway equivalent to high school (high school) or Madrasah Aliyah (MA). This research was conducted on learning citizens of Paket C at Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Cerme Gresik. The purpose of this study was to find out how the description of the Paket C program at SKB Cerme Gresik, as well as to describe the quality of learning the learners of Paket C at the SKB Gresik. In this study using Mixed Methods method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of this study illustrate that the evaluation of the Paket C program is carried out in five stages such as planning, organizing, mobilizing, coaching, and evaluating. And the quality of learning can be seen from the tutors who have scientific qualifications that are appropriate to the subject. The research aims to analyze the quality parameters of sorghum products for penetration potential market in entrepreneurship education programs. The method used is quantitative research. The observation covers various aspects of excellence in every aspect of the entrepreneurial education learning model, the quality of sorghum products, and marketing aspects, followed by statistical analysis. The results show that 1) learning model of entrepreneurship education triggered activities/events and developed entrepreneurial competencies; 2) integrated learning models of entrepreneurship education improved efficiency and development of entrepreneurship; 3) the quality of sorghum products was determined by chemical analysis, rheology properties, physical properties, and organoleptic evaluation; and 4) the market penetration strategy of sorghum products were better understood by students through a series of practices, and group discussions and could be well formulated in business planning and entrepreneurship education.

Sekolah mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan berkualitas yang sesuai dengan tujuan nasional pendidikan. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan tenaga pendidik yang kompeten. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan komitmen dan kinerja guru adalah dengan pemberian kompensasi non finansial. Berdasarkan gambaran di atas maka penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi non finansial terhadap komitmen dan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja guru. Dalam melihat pengaruh tersebut diuji baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui variabel antara yaitu variabel komitmen guru dengan kompensasi non finansial dibagi menjadi dua yaitu variable imbalan karier dan imbalan sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan explanatory research, dengan desain penelitian survei. Sedangkan Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan model partial least square (PLS) pada populasi 126 guru dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 96 guru yang diambil dari populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen guru berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru sebesar t-statistik 2.406, pengaruh pemberian imbalan sosial memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap komitmen guru dengan nilai t-statistik 3.873 maupun kinerja guru dengan nilai t-statistik 2.860. Sedangkan pemberian imbalan karier hanya berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap komitmen guru dengan nilai t-statistik sebesar 2.589.
