At one decade, the internet has changed human lifestyles, and it harms daily student life. The adverse effects including physically and mentally problem had decreased student social skill and coping styles on real life. The aims of these studies were to explore the predictions of Internet hour usage on Indonesian student internet excessive use. Indonesian students in Wuhan have been participating in this study. This study using quantitative approached using descriptive statistic. The main finding revealed, regarding the daily internet use, comparison among Indonesian on internet addiction level have the difference which is Indonesian students using the Internet from less than 1hour until more than 12 hours per day otherwise students no one uses the Internet less than 1 hour. The data above revealed internet addiction level on Indonesian could be described based on daily internet usage. Therefore, daily internet usage could predict the Indonesian level addiction on the Internet. Otherwise, it could not be applied to the students, whereas Indonesian students on the daily usage have higher Internet addictive level than Chinese students.

Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) merupakan jenjang pendidikan formal untuk anak usia dini yang telah memasuki usia empat sampai lima tahun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor yang memengaruhi pertimbangan orang tua dalam pemilihan TK bagi anak di kota Surabaya dan berapa presentase pada setiap faktornya.

The purpose of this study is to illustrate the impact of giving folding stages to the subtle motoric abilities of children, especially in folding paper. The sample in this study was 15 children. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The research observation sheet includes measuring the ability to fold a child, 3 namely: 1) the child is able to connect the a to b side symmetrically correctly, 2) the child is able to connect a side to b quickly and press it firmly, 3) the child is able to make the fold neat with symmetrical folds. Data analysis techniques use the interactive model Miles and Huberman. From the results of the research carried out giving stages of paper folding greatly impacted on the fine motor skills of children, especially in folding. In general, children become more able to do origami folding activities independently without teacher guidance.

Kegiatan penelitian action research ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan anak dalam menyimak melalui kegitan bercerita dengan menggunakan buku cerita sederhana. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A di TK di Jayanegara Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan refleksi persiklus. Berdasarkan oleh data diperoleh data aktivitas menyimak anak dalam mengikuti kegiatan bercerita (respon anak yang terwujud dalam sikap menyimak dan menjawab pertanyaan) pada siklus I sebesar 56, 25% meningkat menjadi 81, 25% pada siklus. Selain itu diperoleh bahwa buku cerita sederhana, seting tempat duduk, cara guru bercerita dengan intonasi, mimik, dan gerak tubuh merupakan bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari meningkatnya kemampuan anak dalam menyimak. Pemilihan buku cerita adalah salah satu faktor utama dalam hal menarik minat anak untuk menyimak. Berdasarkan data tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan kegiatan bercerita dengan menggunakan buku cerita sederhana berdampak pada kemampuan anak menyimak.

The research aims to analyze the quality parameters of sorghum products for penetration potential market in entrepreneurship education programs. The method used is quantitative research. The observation covers various aspects of excellence in every aspect of the entrepreneurial education learning model, the quality of sorghum products, and marketing aspects, followed by statistical analysis. The results show that 1) learning model of entrepreneurship education triggered activities/events and developed entrepreneurial competencies; 2) integrated learning models of entrepreneurship education improved efficiency and development of entrepreneurship; 3) the quality of sorghum products was determined by chemical analysis, rheology properties, physical properties, and organoleptic evaluation; and 4) the market penetration strategy of sorghum products were better understood by students through a series of practices, and group discussions and could be well formulated in business planning and entrepreneurship education.

Sekolah mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan berkualitas yang sesuai dengan tujuan nasional pendidikan. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan tenaga pendidik yang kompeten. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan komitmen dan kinerja guru adalah dengan pemberian kompensasi non finansial. Berdasarkan gambaran di atas maka penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi non finansial terhadap komitmen dan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja guru. Dalam melihat pengaruh tersebut diuji baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui variabel antara yaitu variabel komitmen guru dengan kompensasi non finansial dibagi menjadi dua yaitu variable imbalan karier dan imbalan sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan explanatory research, dengan desain penelitian survei. Sedangkan Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan model partial least square (PLS) pada populasi 126 guru dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 96 guru yang diambil dari populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen guru berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru sebesar t-statistik 2.406, pengaruh pemberian imbalan sosial memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap komitmen guru dengan nilai t-statistik 3.873 maupun kinerja guru dengan nilai t-statistik 2.860. Sedangkan pemberian imbalan karier hanya berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap komitmen guru dengan nilai t-statistik sebesar 2.589. The purpose of this research is to develop an android based game, called Happy Chef game, as a media on mathematics subject materials fraction comparison for four graders of elementary school and also aimed to:(1) Describe the process of developing happy chef game media;(2) Describe the feasibility of the happy chef game media. The background of this research is the material in the student book and learning media did not teach clearly about fraction comparison and the use of mobile phones among children was not appropriate. The method of this research is Development research and uses ADDIE development model. The results of this study are in the excellent category according to the material expert and media expert validator, and get very good grades for student questionnaire assessments and very good categories also for observations. So, it was concluded that the Happy Chef media game is worth to use.

Social entrepreneurship plays a prominent role in cultivating the entrepreneurship spirit in university students who start up the new ventures. This study investigates the determinant of social entrepreneurship intention on university student related to entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship experience in Indonesia. Through a survey method collected university students as respondent 328 for analyzed. Using statistically Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method for data analysis, research findings reveal that moral obligation, self-efficacy and social support as determinant factors on social entrepreneurship intention in student university. Moreover, the main finding indicates that entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship experience will increase the intention to strat up business in the field of social when it mediated with several factors. This study aims to analyze the magnitude of the costs and factors that influence the implementation of community-based school transportation services. Implementation of school transportation services as simple mass transportation as an effort to reduce congestion on the highway. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The location of the study was at Al-Falah Elementary School in Surabaya which enabled the community to maximize school-specific services to support the learning process. Data collection techniques used by interviews, observation, and documentation. Data collected, then processed by step condensing data, presenting data, then verifying data. To ensure data can be properly accounted for, the data validity test is carried out which includes credibility testing, transferability, dependability, and confirmation. The results of the study indicate that the analysis of the cost of association-based school transportation services is determined by the parents' background factors and the amount of school transportation operational costs. Where education and economic level parents have a big contribution to determine the choice of school transportation services. Meanwhile, the determination of school transportation costs is determined by personal costs, operational costs, distance or location, number of interested persons in one area, and the type of vehicle used

Study about policy education based on its criteria benefits to develop science by having new knowledge to enrich research in public evaluation discipline and educational management research area. Policy evaluation of teachers’ assignment as school principals will not only be able to give inputs to ministry of education and culture. But it will also give reinforcement to policy decision to make it successful for what it has been done. The role of principals is very essential to make the school have capability to shape intelligent and competitive Indonesian human capital. School principals as leaders are expected to become contributor to the success of governance reinforcement, accountability and public image of education. Their success to develop educational quality at school is very determined by their professionalism to do their duties, roles and function as principals. To develop their professionalism, it is very imperative to prepare selection of principal candidates. The implementation of proper selection system is hoped to bring about principal candidates who have high credibility since it has important role for education nowadays. It is also hoped that competent principals have capability to build good school cultural organization by emphasizing excellent service to learners and its community.
