2018 The Implementation of School-Based Management in Extracurricular Robotics Execution at Elementary School
The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze: 1) the implementation of school-based management in robotics extracurricular at SD Muhammadiyah 4; 2) factors supporting the implementation of school-based management in robotics extracurricular at SD Muhammadiyah 4; 3) and inhibiting factors of the implementation school-based management of robotics extracurricular at SD Muhammadiyah 4. This is a case study research. Data collection techniques are using in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of school-based management is in accordance with the characteristics and the framework of school-based management well, including cooperation and communication between schools, parents, students synergized. Factors supporting the implementation of school-based management are high community participation, complete learning tools, learning process using the PAKEM approach. Inhibiting factors in the implementation of the lack of affordable facilities and infrastructure as the main media for the process of extracurricular robotics activities is less stable for the learners.

2018 Principal Competency Correlation, Work Motivation, and Job Satisfaction on Teacher Performance
This study aimed to examine the correlation of 1) principals’ competence on teacher performance; 2) work motivation on teacher performance; 3) job satisfaction on teacher performance; and 4) headmaster competence, work motivation, and job satisfaction along with teacher performance. This research used a correlational quantitative method and the data were collected thorugh the principal competence questionnaire, work motivation and job satisfaction, and teacher performance observation sheet. The results of the study showed that: 1) the principals’ competence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teachers of State Senior High Schools in Pamekasan sub-district; 2) work motivation of teacher performance on the teacher performance; and 3) job satisfaction on the teacher performance; while the highest significant effect is on 4) principals’ competence, work motivation and job satisfaction to the teacher performance of State Senior High School in Pamekasan Sub-district.

2018 The Development of Character Education Management Model in Secondary School
Character education management is the integrated steps which include the process of planning, organizing, directing, and supervising conducted by the school as an attempt to implement the character values effectively and efficiently involving all stakeholders. Thi research aimed to describe and analyse the feasibility, practically, and effectiveness of the character education management model. The research used qualitative approach by combining facts and data to describe the condition of community character in the school. This research used research and development type and used the Four D model by Thiagarajan, define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research subjects were stakeholders in the secondary high school of Al Falah Assalam Tropodo, Sidoarjo. The data were collected from four techniques; they were an interview, observations, documentation, and test and non-test by using instruments in the form of expert validation sheets, questionnaire testing process guides and stakeholder response questionnaires. The results of development are five character building guides for principal, teacher, educational staff, student, and school committee of each element roles for character building, and there is also the example of student disciplinary assessments. In terms of practicality, it can be used easily while in terms of effectiveness, the content of the material is easy to understand and implement.

2018 The Implementation of Academic Supervision in Senior High School Level
This research discussed the implementation of academic supervision done by the school principal on the teachers in senior high school of Al-Aziz tlambah karang Penang Sampang. This research used a qualitative research method through the descriptive design. As receipt of the technique was used in the study data in observation of supervision, interviews and documentation. The results of this research showed that the teachers who were guided and assisted during their teaching period became more professional in doing their job. This academic supervision will help the teachers to be more systematic in planning the learning process.

2018 Academic Supervision To Improve Teacher’s Performance in Elementary School
Supervision has become a cross-cutting edge tool and a pivot around which performance revolves. There are widespread and on-going debates centered on the influence of effective supervision on academic performance in our academic. This study examined the role of supervision in academic performance in Elementary School. The study was based on the collegial model of educational management and the supervision model, Theory Y, as proposed by Douglas McGregor. This study employed the descriptive research survey design. Through questionnaire, the data analyzed were collected from 223 respondents who were purposively selected from randomized schools in each region comprising, their assistants and heads of department of 155 schools. The results (2017 and 2018) of the sampled schools were analyzed. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was alpha 0,826. The Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 18 software were employed in the analyses of data using, mean, standard deviation, correlation, and independent t-test. The study revealed that there was a positive weak significant relationship between the supervision roles of heads and academic performance of students. There was positive weak significant relationship between the gender of the headmasters and their supervisory roles. The study recommended that the supervision will be intensified in Putra Wijaya Elementary School. Moreover, the headmaster of elementary school should be reorientated into the new trends of supervision in schools.

2018 Media Literacy in Extracurricular Activities of Journalism to Strengthen Civic Education
In the 21st century, the millennial generation is the multicultural society. They need space to actualize the value of nation’s character in implementing civic education. Extracurricular activities of journalism can help them develop balanced interest and talent with media literacy program. This research study used a combination of research methods with concurrent embedded strategy model, with a total sample of 27 students who participated in extracurricular activities of journalism at different grade levels in an integrated Islamic elementary school in Surabaya. This media literacy activity has a positive impact on them. The results of the research show the work of media literacy results in the anthology of poetry, comics, short stories and photography which contain portraits of the life of the people they meet and adjusted to their point of view, as many as 21 of 27 children have adaptive behaviors such as respecting their non-Muslim friends and not bullying.

2018 Development of Education in Disadvantaged Area, A Case Study in Situbondo Regency, East Java
Situbondo is one of four remote regencies in East Java. The development in disadvantaged areas requires special handling, including education. The purpose of this research was to identify the educational profile and efforts taken by various parties in the framework of education development in Situbondo Regency. In addition, this study also aimed to formulate policy recommendations for education development in Situbondo Regency. The qualitative approach was used in this research with case study design. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data was analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that based on the various indicators of education and human resources quality, Situbondo Regency needs various programs to improve its quality of education and increase equally with other developed districts in East Java. The policy recommendations include: 1) The Education and Culture Office of Situbondo Regency needs to do better arrangement of teacher performance 2) the school supervisors should perform better supervisory tasks, particularly regarding teacher performance and monitoring of students numbers; and 3) the joint between government and community needs to enhance the role of informal and non-formal education

Football is one sport that needs physical condition. The purpose of physical condition training is to improve the quality of the immune system in accordance with the need to achieve optimal performance in football. This research will discuss Survey of Physical Condition of SSB Golden Dragon KU 14 Tulungagung. The purpose of this research is (1) To know how much power (power) owned by football player SSB Golden Dragon KU 14 Tulungagung,(2) To know how big speed (speed) owned by player SSB Golden Dragon KU 14 Tulungagung, 3) To find out how far the agility of soccer player SSB Golden Dragon KU 14 Tulungagung,(4) To find out how much endurance soccer player SSB Golden Dragon KU 14 Tulungagung. The results of this study were:(1) SBK Dragon Golden Dragon player 14 Tulungagung has an average leg muscle strength 426.55 power categorized as being.(2) SSB Dragon Dragon player KU 14 Tulungagung has an average speed of 3.71 seconds is categorized less.(3) SSB Dragon Dragon player KU 14 Tulungagung has right leg agility is 9.27 seconds left foot agility is 8.55 seconds is categorized as good.(4) SSB Golden Dragon KU 14 Tulungagung has a mean (VO2 Max) is 38.3 ml. kg/min categorized as sufficient, with the lowest value of 28.1 ml. kg/min and the highest value of 48.7 ml. kg/min. 2018 Studi Evaluatif Tentang Keberadaan Sekolah Program Bakat Istimewa Di Mtsn Malang Iii Berdasarkan 8 Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tingkat Smp/Mts
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara jelas tentang keberadaan sekolah program bakat istimewa dengan cara menganalisis standar kompetensi lulusan, standar isi, standar proses, standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, standar sarana dan prasarana, standar pengelolahan, standar pembiayaan, dan standar penilaian pendidikan pada Program Bakat Istimewa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Malang III dan mengevaluasi berdasarkan 8 standar nasional pendidikan tingkat SMP/MTs yang meliputi standar kompetensi lulusan, standar isi, standar proses, standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, standar sarana dan prasarana, standar pengelolahan, standar pembiayaan, dan standar penilaian pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana sumber data diperoleh dari: informan (Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kurikulum, Waka Sarana dan Prasarana, Waka Bendahara, Ketua Program Bakat Istimewa, guru dan pelatih, serta siswa) dan dokumen. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Sementara hasil penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis model interaktif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. 2018 The Implementation of Media in Teaching and Learning of Physical, Sport, and Health Education Subject
This study aimed at knowing the implementation of media in teaching and learning of physical, sport, and health education (PJOK) subject in State Senior High Schools (SMA Negeri) throughout Bojonegoro Subdistrict. In order to investigate such phenomenon, this study employed descriptive research. Moreover, the researcher used survey method with questionnaire as the instrument for data collection. Meanwhile, the subjects of this study were physical, sport, and health education teachers teaching at High School throughout Bojonegoro Subdistrict as many 4 teachers from four schools. Further, the data collected from the subjects of the study were analyzed by using the technique of descriptive percentage. The results showed that the implementation of the media in teaching and learning of physical, sport, and health education in High School throughout Bojonegoro subdistrict achieved †œaverage†category.
