2018 Challenges and Solutions of Web-based Learning on Mobile Devices
According to a 2014 Google report, more Google searches take place on mobile devices than on computers in ten countries including the USA and Japan (Dischler, 2015). This report raises awareness of the use of Web-based learning on mobile devices. Unlike the desktop, mobile devices vary in terms of screen size and primary use of the touch screen. These characteristics result in a different interaction and experience on a mobile device than non-mobile devices. Web-based learning also has had to adapt to these characteristics. This chapter discusses the challenges faced by Web-based learning on mobile devices along with solutions that may be used to overcome these challenges.

2018 The role of mother-child secure attachment and mother parenting styles toward social, emotional and moral development in children aged 5-6 years old
Children’s social, emotional and moral development is a development that has a great influence on the children’s lives in the community. Mother plays a big role in forming the children’s development. The role of mother both quantity and quality in the development are very important because the proper skills of mother determine how well the child monitoring will be performed. This research will focus on children’s social, emotional, and moral development in terms of mother’s secure attachment and parenting styles perspective. This research is using a qualitative method with research subjects are mothers who have a secure attachment with children aged five-six years old. The result of this study illustrates that mothers who have a secure attachment with their children and nurture their children with democratic parenting style produce children with social, emotional and moral capacities that develop very well.

2018 Distance Education Program: Using Video Streaming to Improve Teachers' Competence
This is a qualitative research which describes the implementation of distance education programs for teachers in East Java region by using video streaming, not having to meet teachers in the formal classroom environment such as traditional learning patterns. To collect data, the authors used observation and interview methods. To analyze, the authors used descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that this program is implemented for justice in an effort to improve the competence and ability of teachers as professionals. The materials presented in the video streaming format include both theoretical and practical materials. The design of distance education was developed by utilizing streaming video technology. However, there has no been any evaluation research on distance education program so far. Thus, it is suggested to be evaluated to know the effectiveness of the program.

2018 THE EFFECT OF USING FLIP BOOK ON RELIGION VALUES DEVELOPMENT AND LANGUAGE EXPRESSION IN EARLY CHILDHOOD
Learning activities in early childhood performed in a fun way, one of them by using interesting media. Media is an equipment that ease educators to deliver material to the children. The window book or better known as the flip book was designed and adapted to the one topic of learning, that topic was animal. Several research had also conducted and the result was that the flip book media can increased understanding and improved the achievement of learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of using a window book (flip book) for develop religious values and the ability to express language in early childhood. A window book (flip book) is one of picture book that can increase student learning interest, window book or better known as the flip book is a type of book that contained pictures with a window that can be opened up, down to the right and to the left and there was a description behind it. This research was included in the experimental study with pre-test post-test design for the control group. The sample in this study were 60 children aged 4-5 years from two kindergartens in Lumajang regency. The method of data collection using observation and documentation sheets. This flip book was already tested by linguist and media experts and flip book showed that it affected the development of values religion and language development in early childhood.

2018 Influence of Habituation on Self-Awareness and Prosocial Behavior in 4-5-Year-Old Children
The aim of this study to determine the habit of self-awareness and prosocial behavior in an early child aged 4-5 years at a kindergarten, Surabaya, Indonesia. This is an experimental research with quantitative approach. The subjects of the study were 60 kindergarten students in Surabaya. Data analysis technique used is Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results of this study indicate that habituation has an effect on self-awareness and prosocial behavior in children aged 4-5 years in the kindergarten students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the approach of habituation is very effective in instilling positive values into the students, so as to increase self-awareness and prosocial behavior.

2018 Developing Science and Creativity Through the Water Playing Exploratory Game
This research aims to review (1) the influence of water-playing exploratory game to the children’s science ability,(2) the influence of water-playing exploratory game to the children’s creativity. The researcher is choosing an exploratory game to develop children’s science and creativity between 5 to 6 years old in order to have an ability in solving a simple problem, understanding the concept of nature, generating ideas or new work product. The method of this research is quasi-experimental with experimental and control group design. The samples of this research are 125 students in Sukolilo Surabaya. In this research, observation and documentation are used for data collection technique. The result shows that the experimental group’s science and creativity is greater than the control one. The researcher recommends to every institution in kindergarten to develop the exploratory game by taking advantage of a natural environment that is water as the source of learning, because water-playing exploratory game is proven effective to develop children’s science and creativity.

2018 The Effect of Softbook on Cognitive and Social Development of 4-5 Years Old Children
This study aims to determine the influence of the softbook on cognitive and social-emotional development of 4-5 years old children. This research is included in quantitative research that is quasi-experimental using non-equivalent control group design. The result of the research is a busy book including one instructional media that can facilitate cognitive and social-emotional development of children. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the busy book on cognitive and social-emotional development for A-level children.

2018 PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN PENJUMLAHAN DAN PENGURANGAN PECAHAN DESIMAL UNTUK KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR DENGAN PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang baik, dan mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan desimal di kelas V Sekolah Dasar dengan pendekatan matematika realistik. Model pengembangan yang digunakan sebagai acuan adalah model Plomp. Model pengembangan ini meliputi lima fase yaitu fase investigasi awal (preliminary investigation), fase desain (design), fase realisasi/konstruksi (realization/construction), fase tes, evaluasi dan revisi (test, evaluation, and revision), dan fase implementasi (implementation). Penelitian ini menghasilkan (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang baik dengan kriteria:(a) kevalidan, hasil penilaian validator terhadap perangkat pembelajaran mencapai 82, 75%;(2) Pembelajaran matematika realistik untuk mengajarkan operasi penjumlahan adalah minimal dalam kategori baik;(b) kepraktisan, diindikasikan dengan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran berada dalam kategori baik;(c) keefektifan, dengan indikator aktivitas siswa memenuhi kriteria efektif sesuai dengan waktu ideal dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal mencapai 82, 75%;(2) Pembelajaran matematika realistik untuk mengajarkan operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan desimal dengan kriteria:(a) hasil belajar siswa tuntas dengan persentase ketuntasan secara klasikal mencapai 92, 85%;(b) kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran berada dalam kategori baik;(c) aktivitas siswa memenuhi kriteria efektif;(d) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran positif.

2018 Logical thinking ability and expressive language in early childhood learners
The purposes of this research were to produce a magic box of expressions as a feasible and effective medium in enhancing the ability to think logically and to use expressive language in early childhood. The research used Dick and Carey instructional model. The feasibility was tested using a percentage formula. The effectiveness of this research was tested using a t-test. Finally, the research used one group pre-test post-test design with 30 children as research subjects. The results of this study reveal (1) the development of magic box of expression media for early childhood learners showed an excellent result (2) magic box of expressions is proven effective in improving the skill of children in the sense of thinking logically and in using expressive language. The conclusion is promoting the logical thinking skill and using expressive language in early childhood learners may be done through involving children in a dialog using cause and effect relation.

2018 The Development of Learning Tools Based on SETS with Interactive Multimedia to Improve Science Learning Outcomes
The purpose of this research is to produce a learning tool based on SETS with interactive multimedia to improve science learning outcomes. Feasibility is seen from the results of validation, practicality, and effectiveness. This research uses Dick and Carey model with Pretest-Posttest One Group Design. Data were collected through observation method, interview, validation, questionnaire, and test. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that the developed learning tools are valid; students show a positive response to the learning process; the score of learning outcomes from the knowledge aspect increased from an average of 40 to 82 with high N-gain categories. Meanwhile, the average score of attitudinal aspects in good categories and the average score of skills aspect was 79. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning tool based on SETS with interactive multimedia is feasible to improve students' science learning outcomes.
