2018 Implementation of Cooperative Learning Inside-Outside Circle Model to Improve Elementary School Students' Motivation and Learning Outcome
The aim of this research was to improve the fifth-grade students' motivation and learning outcomes on communication skills and cognitive aspect in SDN Ngagelrejo II Surabaya. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) and applied inside-outside circle which is one of cooperative learning models. The research was done with two cycles each of which consisted of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Questionnaires, observation, and tests were used to collect data. Data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative analysis. The research result showed that students' motivation, communication skills, and cognitive aspect improved in each cycle. During the lessons, the students are well motivated, listen and understand the discussion.

2018 The Effect of Scientific Approach Towards Students’ Activity and Learning Outcomes
This study aims at determining the effect of scientific approach to the activity and learning outcomes of fourth graders of elementary school in Hang Tuah 6 Surabaya. This research was conducted using quantitative approach with experimental research and pretest-posttest design. The subject of the study involved all students of Hang Tuah 6 Surabaya who were in their 4th grade of 2016/2017 academic year with the total number of students 42 for control class and experimental class. The results of the research were given as follows: in the student activity, the T test was gotten, the t count was equal to 5, 00 (tcount> ttable), the T test from the data of pretest dealing with the result of student learning got t count which was equal to 0, 01 (tcount> ttable), the T test data posttest dealing with the result of student learning got t count which was equal to 2.60 (tcount> ttable). Based on those results, the scientific approach on 4th grade students of Hang Tuah 6 Elementary school in 2016/2017 academic year could be said that it gave a pretty good influence.

2018 Extraction and characterization of the base halal gelatin based on bovine bone
In this study bovine bone material was cured with alkaline solution (calcium oxide) for 10, 30 and 50 days and extracted at three temperature levels (60 C in extraction I, 70 C in extraction II, and 100 C in extraction III) each for 4, 5 and 6 hours. The results showed an increase in the percentage of yield along with an increase in curing and extraction time, where the preparation with 50 days curing time and 6 hours extraction resulted in the highest gelatin yield percentage, ie 23.45%. In addition, the increase in curing and extraction time is also closely related to the increase in proximate levels (water and ash) as well as pH of bovine bone gelatin. Slightly different, the results of the viscosity and gel strength analysis showed more specific and varied phenomena. Especially for color organoleptic properties, application of various curing and extraction times does not appear to have a significant effect.

2018 T-Mobile Learning Android Model-Based to Improve Students' Listening Capability
The study was conducted to develop the students' listening capability by using t-mobile learning android model-based. It provides suggestions about how to perform an appropriate model based on android application. The subjects were 60 students who have undertaken the listening program in 2016 until 2017. There were only two variables studied, including the T-mobile learning model, and the studentslistening capability. The study used a quantitative method. The findings of this research showed that the feasibility of t-mobile learning and the studentslistening capability were sufficient and appropriate.

2018 The Development of Cognitive Behavior Therapy Guidebook to Improve Self-efficacy of People with HIV/AIDS
The purpose of this research is to produce Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) guidebook for people with HIV/AIDS (PWHA) that fulfill the criteria of acceptability, ie utility, accuracy, and feasibility aspects. This research uses Borg & Gall development model. The data collection instrument used in this development is an acceptability assessment questionnaire. The validation results of the content experts show that the Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) guidebook for people with HIV/AIDS (PWHA) is considered worthy of use.

2018 The Development of Academic Self-Management Inventory of Vocational High School Students
The purpose of this research is to develop academic self-management inventory of vocational high school students. The development of academic self-management inventory uses a development model developed by Borg & Gall (1983). This model is called research and development consisting of 10 development steps. The result of academic self-management inventory product through expert test, test and main field test obtained 50 items that meet the validity level of the construct. The result of the distribution of data is divided into three (3) categories, ie high, medium, and low academic self-management.

2018 Applying Online Media for High School Students
This study aims to develop an online learning media on nutrition and reproduction material, and to determine the effectiveness of the media. The method was based on Research and Development model by Plomp (1997) through five stages: investigation, design, realization, evaluation and implementation. The data was retrieved through the interview, questionnaire and testing. Online media has been developed, and was considered to be effective when tested in the experiment and that the use of the media has succeeded in increasing the level of students' knowledge in the subject. This result was based on the significant difference between pre-and post-test scores. The implication of this study is that the use of online media can be adopted in the study of nutrition and reproduction for high school students in a wider scope, especially in the area of Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia

2018 Challenges of a non English education graduate in teaching ESP: A case study in State University of Surabaya
Recently, ESP has been receiving even greater interest due to the effects of globalization within industry and academia, particularly in Asia. In industrial settings, workers increasingly need strong English skills to succeed in their jobs (Anthony, 2015, p. 2). Accordingly, this paper aims at describing the ESP learning process in Non-English Departments at State University of Surabaya (UNESA). This is a case study within the context of the university’s Department of Instructional Technology, School ofEducational Sciences. The choice of the case study method is due to its uniqueness because the ESP lecturer at this context does not have an English Language educational background. In depth interview, document analysis, questionnaires, and teaching material evaluation are conducted to collect the details of description about the ESP learning process in the selected context. The research reveals that from the policy perspective, the purpose of the ESP of the university is to prepare the students to complete the English proficiency test designed by the university language center. The topics in the locally designed teaching material are not specifically related to the instructional technology academic discipline. 2018 Pengembangan Media Animasi Pelajaran Matematika Materi Bidang Datar Simetris Untuk Siswa Kelas Iv Di Sdn Jatikalen 3 Nganjuk
Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, ditemukan suatu permasalahan yaitu minimnya media belajar yang berbasis IPTEK. Terbukti dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan dengan guru kelas IV tentang proses pembelajaran yang terjadi di SDN Jatikalen 3. Adapun tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah; 1) untuk mengembangkan menghasilkan Media Audiovisual Animasi yang layak dan efektif pada Pelajaran Matematika Materi Bidang Datar Simetri Untuk Siswa Kelas IV Di SDN Jatikalen 3 Nganjuk, dan 2) untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengembangan Media Audiovisual Animasi Pelajaran Matematika Materi Bidang Datar Simetri Untuk Siswa Kelas IV Di SDN Jatikalen 3 Nganjuk. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Adapun instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media adalah angket, sedangkan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media digunakan instrumen tes dengan uji-T Control Group Pre-test Post-test sebagai teknik analisis datanya. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Jatikalen 3 Nganjuk. Hasil angket ahli media animasi pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai presentasi 80%. Sedangkan untuk ahli materi mendapatkan nilai presentase 70%. Hasil uji kelayakan kelayakan media yang telah dilakukan kepada; 1) uji coba perorangan mendapatkan nilai presentase 86, 6%, 2) uji coba kelompok kecil mendapatkan nilai presentase 85%, 3) uji coba kelompok besar mendapatkan nilai presentase 93, 6%.
