2020 | Pengembangan Program Pembinaan Literasi Media Bagi Siswa Tunarungu | This study aims to produce a media literacy development program for deaf students in schools. The deaferation behavior of deaf students at school so far has not been able to show their ability to use media as a tool for literacy, learning resources, and there is no follow up after the activity takes place. Media literacy is needed by deaf students because various information can be obtained from technology media. Development of media literacy is done with the aim that students with hearing impairment:(1) are able to utilize the media for positive activities and use media properly and appropriately, and (2) have provision in lifelong learning. The method used is Research & Development (R&D) with 10 stages. Instruments to determine the level of media literacy ability of deaf students and their activeness using daily reading journals are interviews, observation, and documentation. 2020 | Safe Hand Antiseptic Formulation Produce from Cymbopogon Citratus Essential Oils for Children with Special Needs to Anticipate The New Normal Protocols of The COVID-19 Pandemic | The goverment has set on June until December as the recovery phase and must implement the new normal protocol. The policy applies to all levels of society including children with special needs who must start going to school gradually. This condition requires conscious effort to maintain personal health through paying attention to cleanliness of the hand to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Handwashing with soap and use of hand antiseptics habit are the keys to success in preventing COVID-19 transmission. According Block (2001) repeated use of alcohol on hand antiseptic preparations can cause skin dryness and irritation. The aim of this research is (1) to develop a non-alcoholic hand antiseptic formulation that is safe for children with special needs made from lemongrass essential oils base carbomer-940 and CMC-Na gel.(2) examine of aorganoleptic test, pH, homogeneity, and consistency test of the product hand antiseptic formulation. The research method is an experiment by conducting laboratory tests on the preperation of carbomer-940 and CMC-Na gel. The research result of carbomer-940 gel base with a concentration lemongrass essential oil 15% is clear yellow, thin, lemon odor, pH 6, 6, homogeneous no granules, until a five days spend there is no phase separation, consistent, and nonsticky. The result of CMC-Na gel base is clear yellow, thick, lemon odor, pH 7, 0, homogeneous, consistent with no phase separation, sticky. The conclution shows that using a carbomer-940 ge is more comfortable on the skin and is not sticky so panelists are preferable than CMC-Na gel. |

2020 | The Urgency of Gender Mainstreaming Regional Draft in Jombang Regency | The implementation of national development must be able to improve the quality of human life as a whole, which gives justice to all parties. There are various regulations focused on Gender Mainstreaming (GM) development, namely;(1) President Instruction Number 09 Year 2000 concerning GM;(2) Minister of Affairs Regulation Number 15 Year 2008 concerning guidelines for the Implementation of GM in the Regions;(3) Minister of Finance Regulation Number 111 of 2011 concerning Finance gender budgeting statements;(4) East Java Governor Regulation No. 93 of 2018 concerning the East Java GM Regional Action Plan 2018-2019. The substance of this paper explains the urgency of the Drafting of Local Regulation on Gender Mainstreaming (GM) in Jombang district. The design used is exploratory study, the questionnaire was chosen as a data collection technique, with the percentage of data analysis techniques. The subject of this research is the Regional Government Work Unit (the so called SKPD) in the district of Jombang. 2020 | The Implementation of Assertive Training to Reduce Aggressive Behaviors of Students With Mild Intellectual Disability | The purpose of this study is to describe the effect of assertive training to reduce aggressive behavior of students with mild intellectual disability of grade ten SMALB (Special Senior Public School) Sidoarjo. This study used a quantitative approach with type Single Subject Research (SSR), ABA design. The technique of collecting data used observation. The data analysis technique used was visual analysis in conditions and visual analysis between conditions for frequency and duration data, while quality data were analyzed using descriptive percentage techniques. The results showed that in the baseline phase (A1) the average aggressive behaviors of students during the 40 minutes is 35, 5 seconds with an average frequency of 14.25 times with the quality of severe aggressive behaviors. In the Intervention phase (B) the average aggressive behaviors carried out by students in 40 minutes was 9.2 seconds with an average frequency of 5.7 times with a mild quality of aggressive behaviors. In the baseline phase (A2) the average aggressive behavior carried out by students in 40 minutes was 15.5 seconds with an average frequency of 7.25 times with mild aggressive behavior. Thus, it can be concluded that during the intervention phase there was an effect of assertive training to reduce the aggressive behaviors of students with mild intellectual disability. |

2020 | Model of Missouri Mathematics Project for Problem Solving Skills Problems in Flat Mathematics in Deaf Students | This research is motivated by the problems of deaf students in the field of mathematics, especially in the ability to solve problems in mathematical flat problems. The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model in solving mathematical problems in everyday life. This research used quantitative approach with pre experimental kind and one group pre-test–post-test design. This research result indicated that there was influence of learning model of Missouri Mathematics Project toward troubleshooting ability of story exercise of mathematics two-dimensional figure to hearing impairment students. 2020 | System Quality in Web-Based Application of Children With Special Needs Service Management | This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of system quality in web-based aplication of children with special needs service management. System quality indicators include:(1) the application has never experienced interference when used,(2) the application provides complete features,(3) the application can be accessed anywhere and anytime, and (4) the application has a decent display. This research is a development research which procedures referring to Gall, Gall, & Borg, that is: identification of needs, planning, initial product development, expert testing, revision, small-scale field testing, and large-scale field testing. The results obtained are a percentage of 91.67, which means that the system quality in the web-based application of children with special needs service management is very feasible and very effective to use. |

2020 | The Implementation Of Media Detector In Track Running Sport Learning For Visually-Impaired Student In Special Needs School | The purpose of this research is to describe the application of media detector in track running sports learning for visually-impaired students in special needs school. Educational Research Development (R&D) Gall, Gall and Borg (2003) is applied in this study. Prototype media detector product in track running learning for blind students in special needs school, containing the realization of product designs, included the following:(1) Curved track access guide from start to finish, 2) The form of learning media detector for running is held in the hands as instructions when starting towards the finish, 3) Operating how to press the keys when starting in accordance with the desired track running and recorded on the media detector, and (4) The Authentic assessment tools for track running learning as criterion to measure the success of visually-impaired students. Then the prototype produced of detector media for track running learning in special needs school can be used as an effort to introduce innovations to technological advancements that can gives a positive impact on blind students.
