Mahasiswa dapat memahami teori-teori pengembangan kognitif, mampu merancang dan mengaplikasi kegiatan untuk menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif untuk anak usia dini serta dapat mengevaluasi kegiatan yang dirancangnya.
